About Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics

'Introduced in 1994 by Jane Iredale, it was the first full make-up range not only to offer colour enhancement but also benefits the skin. The products are based on micronized minerals and made with no fillers or binders (such as talc and mineral oil) and without chemical dyes or preservatives.

On one of your biggest days of your life, it’s important to try and avoid any unnecessary hiccups! You wouldn’t get married without a rehearsal or to try your dress on only once, it should be the same your wedding day makeup.

Reasons for a trial run...

A chance to get to know your makeup artist, to check out their skill level and they are able to execute your desired look.

As makeup artists we always aim to please, but sometimes the desired look is not always possible due to face shape, skin tone, hair colour etc . A trial run allows this conversation to take place.

Your wedding day is not the day to find out you are allergic to lash glue! A trial run gives you the opportunity to not only test the final look but the also the products used.

Wedding day schedules tend to be pretty tight, so knowing exactly what look is desired and how long it takes can save a lot of valuable time and stress!

A trial run is also a great opportunity to discuss any other details such as..will there be bridesmaids that need make up done, are they thinking of having any treatments such as self tanning, facials, waxing, tinting? We can advise on when is the best time to have these treatments. There is nothing worse than trying to cover up a brides red upper lip and brows as they had them waxed on the morning of her wedding day!

Every bride wants to feel beautiful and confident on her wedding day and by knowing exactly how the day will go and how your final makeup will look is an important cog in the wheel to feeling and looking your best.

TRIAL & ON THE DAY... An unhurried trial with time to chat, get to know each other and go over things with makeup application.

Note: Treatment prices can change without notice and all treatments are subject to availability.
